Buenos Aires, March 7 (NA) – Right-back Lucas Blondel, who had no place at Boca, was officially presented as a new player for Huracán, which will be the fourth team of his career. "Welcome, Lucas! The player from Boca signed a loan until December of this year, with a fee and an option to buy. This weekend he will join the training sessions with his new teammates at La Quemita," informed the Parque Patricios club through a post on their social networks. Blondel comes from playing at Boca, where he played for two and a half years. Upon his arrival in mid-2023, the right-back had significant playing time and even became a key piece for the 'Xeneize'. However, at the beginning of 2024 he suffered a rupture of the cruciate ligaments, so he was inactive for several months. Once recovered, Blondel never had concrete opportunities to regain his place in the starting eleven and his absence from the squad was a constant. According to the Argentine News Agency, the defender played only 31 games for Boca, where he scored four goals and failed to win any titles. In his new team, Huracán, Blondel will reunite with Diego Martínez, the current head coach of 'Globo', who knew how to get the most out of his potential before he tore his ligaments at Boca.
